Model 2400 is the most popular deck railing bracket when you build your balcony and stairs. The base plate is 60mm with three counter sink holes, for both standard screws and wooden screws. You can use this model on both round tube handrail in 42,4mm/48,3mm, and square tubes, flat bars.

As for the balcony or deck project, human is protected more by the deck walls instead of the railing systems itself, you don't need to have a high railing for protection:

That is the major reason that model 2400(Q-railing code 13.0708.042.12) has a height of 60mm, while for the other handrail supports, the standard height is 79mm-80mm.

During the installation, please note that the uper hole is M5 of straight hole, and the screw holes on the base plates are countersunk holes M6.

The disadvantage, however, for this bracket, is you can't use a cover plate out of the base plate for decoration. To solve this please check our model 2510 as below:
