The diameter of the aluminium handrail system is 40mm which is the most popular dimension for the DIY market and online shops, related to the wood handrail systems(40mm and 45mm system), the aluminium and stainless steel handrail systems follows the regulations of the wood indoor handrails, and is different from the regular railing systems of 42,4mm.
